Picky is a app for ROX-Desktops to view PNG, GIF, JPG, XPM, SVG (where available), and other supported image types.

Features

Currently, Picky can:

• Display PNG, JPEG, and GIF images.
• Display SVG files with librsvg if your GTK+2 install supports it.
• Will display the contents of a entire directory. Just drag it to or in the app, and it can add all images it finds in the directory.
• It will automatically-resize the window to the size of each image.
• New in 0.4.1 Scale images to the size of the window
• Set your ROX-Pinboard wallpaper.
• Wins friends
• People? Totally influenced.

This software is currently available under the GNU General Public License version 2.

Requirements

Picky requires:

• Python 2.2
• PyGTK 2.0 or later (May work with earlier version, but I promise nothing)
• ROX-Lib2 1.9.14 or higher.

Helping Out

Some work still needs to be done before this hits version 1.0. If you would like to know what the current goals are, using ROX-Filer, right-click, view the AppDir's 'info,' and click on the 'help' button in the info directory. The 'TODO' file is in the 'Help' directory.
